The five apartment buildings of project Rhapsody will house 239 apartments and 400 m² of commercial space including a subterranean car park. The project was developed with an eye on energy consumption (EPC value). In addition, it was very important that the project should give a positive influence on the already built-up environment. The project location is heavily loaded by sound from different sides; the sophisticated design however, enables noise being reduced to a minimum. Smart construction forms and the use of special sound-absorbing materials contribute positively to this.
The installed CERA ventilation system accentuates the sustainable character of Rhapsody. It is striking that the project is going to supply energy, instead of using it... the roofs of the Rhapsody project will take care of this: these together act as an enormous solar energy collector. The realisation of a large courtyard emphasises the green character of this innovative urban development.
