Located in the NDSM district in Amsterdam, Nautique Living is a lively apartment building with a mix of functions: over 400 student residences are located in the building, together with free sector rental apartments and several commercial spaces. It was in these inspiring surroundings that the first CERA ventilation units were installed.
From the 1920s until the 1980s, the NDSM wharf was one of the biggest shipyards in the world, regularly launching huge impressive tankers from its slipways. After this activity ceased, the colossal shipbuilding shed was transformed into an inspiring area suitable for working, recreation and living. Many monuments were restored and converted into apartment buildings standing alongside new urban development. Living with a view on the IJ, the NDSM district provides an inspiring home for this and future generations.
