De Zaanse Helden
In the new Zaans Hout neighborhood, close to the center and the station of Zaandam, De Zaanse Helden will be built ten modern apartment buildings that form a beautiful harmony with the green surroundings. De Zaanse Helden is a project developed by Stebru and Impact Vastgoed, where the CERA ventilation system will provide the desired indoor climate and living comfort for the residents of these new apartments.
Delivery by Barcol-Air and Inatherm
On behalf of Schouten Techniek, Barcol-Air has supplied 81 CERA-1 units and 247 CERA-2 units for the apartment buildings. Sister company Inatherm was responsible for delivering 21 air handling units that were installed on the roofs of the buildings.
These air handling units are equipped with a high-efficiency counterflow heat exchanger (HRV), energy-efficient EC fans, and a sophisticated (pressure) control system for optimal operation with the CERA units. The units are designed for outdoor installation and were placed on the roofs of the buildings. This allows service and maintenance work to be organized centrally without requiring access to the individual apartments.
About De Zaanse Helden
De Zaanse Helden will have a robust, natural appearance. The design is inspired by the distinctive polder landscape of Zaanstad, where water played an important role. Therefore, several waterside homes with terraces by the water will be built. The buildings stand apart from each other and vary in height, colors, and brickwork. The natural roof landscape, located on the parking garage, lies like a green carpet between the buildings and facilitates social encounters.
